This is a simple a pedal as it gets but the tone is massive.
The FUZZ 149 is actually a fuzztortion pedal. Super high gain via a single silicon transistor with diode clipping. The pedal is housed in a small enclosure to make it very pedal board friendly. It's not subtle and likes to be played flat out but be careful the single volume knob really packs a punch.
the FUZZ 149 is powered via 9V negative centre pin mains power only. Not supplied.
We use industry standard through hole components and make each pedal totally by hand on vero board. Absolute analog all the way.

67 Fuzz
67 Fuzz
The ‘67’ Fuzz is based on the classic Colorsound One Knob Fuzz.
This two transistor fuzz pedal uses a circuit similar to the Fuzz Face where it uses a feedback loop to create a cascading gain stage. I am using high output, silicon 2N5088 or 2N2222 transistors and modern components in this design.
The one knob is so simple. All you need to do is set the pedal volume at the level you like and rock out! Easy!

Boost pedals can be the secret sound enhancer that you are looking for. Seriously, this is an amazing piece of kit to have on hand.
Use it before your gain pedals to push the front end of your drive effects. The effect is staggeringly good. It'll push your overdrive well into distortion depending on the volume level that you have set. Use it to add some real punch to your leads.
otherwise, use it after your drive section to simply boost your volume and add some real fullness to your tone. All with the turn of the volume dial.
